System Requirements

AceShift has been tested for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer v6 or Mozilla Firefox v1, or later, as the browser user interface for both administration and users.

LAN Server Requirements

A computer capable of supporting the following:

• H2 or MySQL ™ database.
• Apache Tomcat as a container for Java Servlets and Java Server Pages

Platform supplied

Currently, AceShift is only supplied with an installation file for a Microsoft Windows environment.

It could be deployed on other platforms by separate downloads for each support package.

It has been developed using:

• Internet Explorer v6 or Mozilla Firefox v1 as the browser at a resolution of 1024 x 768.
• Apache Tomcat as the Web Server and container.
• Firebird or MySQL as the database. AceShift is supplied and configured for use with the open source Firebird database, but may be used with MySQL 4.0 Pro or later, together with the MySQL Connector/J 3.0 or later.
